How the Company treats information you send through this site. This notice is for correspondence with an insurer — not a consumer-marketing privacy policy.
If you write through this site we receive the name, organization, role, email, phone, topic, and message you submit. Server logs may also record technical data such as IP address, browser, and the time of the request. We do not ask for, and you should not send, medical records or other sensitive health information through this form.
Correspondence is used to respond to you, to administer policies in force, to handle claims notices, and to meet legal and regulatory duties of a licensed insurer. We do not sell personal information. We do not use this site to market insurance to the public.
The Company, its manager, and professional advisors (counsel, actuaries, auditors, claims handlers) may see correspondence as needed to do their work. We do not publish inquiries.
Inquiries related to a policy or a claim are kept for the life of the relevant records, including any period required by law. Other correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond and to maintain an ordinary business record.
This website uses only the storage required to operate. Correspondence submitted through a form is sent to Shield. It does not drop advertising cookies, and it does not profile visitors.
